Proposed edits to the Main Page

I propose adding a section on Section 552(a)(2)(D)(ii) - the requirement for agencies to reveal documents already released under FOIA. Some agencies do an excellent job on this, e.g. https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/advanced-search-view, while other agencies only post on their website documents that have been the subject of 3 separate requests, e.g. https://www.fcc.gov/general/freedom-information-act-electronic-reading-room . What is precedent for the interpretation of this requirement and how does one press for compliance

Hi there! There is a link on the homepage to the entry on (a)(2) affirmative disclosure requirements; feel free to add information or sections there! I can also add it to the list of things we want to expand on. -Amarshall (talk) 09:46, 31 October 2018 (EDT)

A FOIA Database

The public needs a federal law or EO to require documents to be proactively downloaded to a publicly accessible database. Whether public oversight of the federal government is desired or not, this law will protect it from fraud, particularly fraudulent employment, and do nothing/stay at home employees. Once the law is in place, specific documents can be legislatively annexed to it, including requirements for "resumes, cover pages, references, job applications, copies of academic diplomas, and last paycheck information from former employers".
